Ocean City

We just got home from Parker's first vacation to Ocean City, Maryland. This was definitely an adventure with a 3 hour flight and then a 3 hour car ride, but I think it went really well. The entire 9 days was filled with fun, sun and relaxation!! Along with Mimi, Papa, Noni, Grandpa, Kathy and Chris, we enjoyed beautiful beach days, yummy Dumsers ice cream and nights of Mexican Train.

One day, Kathy, Chris, John and I went jetskiing and then the guys went parasailing. In the evenings, we played putt-putt golf, went to see a movie or enjoyed rides and games on the Boardwalk. We were there over 4th of July and the house is only 3 blocks from the park where they set off the HUGE fireworks display, so we just put some chairs in the driveway and enjoyed the show!!

What can I say about Parker?? He had a blast!! I was really concerned about how he would sleep in his pack n play in our room, but he had no problems. Even sleeping until 10 one morning! He loved building castles on the beach and hunting for crabs. I have to say his favorite person on the trip was "Kissfer" (thats what it sounds like when he calls Chris 100 times a day)!! He was not a fan of the fireworks and we had to retreat inside. Every time we drove in the car he would say, "Oh look, Kissfer, a motorcycle or a fast car".
