3rd Annual Boo Bash

My golden power ranger and pirate were ready for another fun Boo Bash. Even though we moved off the old block, we were still invited back for the fun. It was great to see everyone and it definitely made me a little sad that Truitt will not have all of these awesome people around to play with like Parker did. Luckily we are still close and can enjoy nights like these!!

4th Annual Dewberry Farms Trip

Here is the annual photo of Parker and Andrew. It is really cute to look back at the other years and see how much they have grown. I thought maybe this year Parker would close the height gap, but maybe next year!!

We spent 4 hours at Dewberry this year enjoying all of the fun activities. Truitt's favorite was definitely the big, bumpy slide. He and daddy must have gone down at least 10 times. They also rode the Cow Train, swung on the ropes, wrestled on the big jumpy pillows and watched pig races.

Beach Birthday Fun

On Saturday we spent the morning at the beach and pool with the Millers and Keys. The big boys had a blast in the waves and burying Uncle Aaron in the sand.

Pleasure Pier

Friday night we headed to the Pleasure Pier for a cool, beautiful, fun evening.

Everyone had a great time on the rides. John and Chris went on the roller coaster too, which has this crazy first drop that makes me sick just thinking about it!!

We ended the evening with a ferris wheel ride, and my mom and Karen could not stop giggling :)

Galveston Birthday Tradition

This is the fourth year that we have gone as a family to Galveston. This year we decided to stay at Diamond Beach. It was an amazing place with wonderful condos, great pools and even a movie theater. It was extra special this year because my Uncle Junior and Aunt Hiltrud from Germany went with us. The first day we had a fun, relaxing day by the pool.

Fussball Players

Junior and Hiltrud brought the boys German soccer jerseys on their recent trip. They are so cute with their names on the back. Parker thinks the uniform makes him run really fast.

First Soccer Game

Parker started his first season of soccer in the Upward league at Humble Area First Baptist Church. He was invited by our old neighbors, Mr Jeff and Hailey to play. He is having a lot of fun and loves that his Daddy is helping coach.

18 Months

Well, I never thought that we could have a smaller child, but it looks like Truitt wins!! At his check up today, the doctor said he looks great though!!

Height: 30.25 inches
Weight: 20 pounds 5 ounces

This is 2 pounds and one inch less than Parker at this age :)

Truitt continues to be our adventerous, into everything child. Although he has started to show a shy side around strangers in the last month. He continues to amaze me every day with how well he listens and how much he actually understands.
- His new words: hat, cheese, Reese, milk, more, again, sit, ear, car, deer
- He is able to point to his eyes, ear, mouth and nose
- Able to kick a ball
- Could eat all the watermelon in the world!!
- Loves to play the clean up game and throw trash away
- Climbing on our bar stools and coffee table
- Loves music and dancing - even walks into Parker's room and turns the CD player on
- Imitates everything his brother does - Today we were at Chik Fil A and Parker was dipping his nuggets into ranch, so Truitt pretends to dip his onto the table (just a cute example if you were there!!)
- Is a very picky eater
- Started a new class at school and continues to be the BITER!!
