The first morning we headed out to the beach. Since this was only Truitt's second time on the beach, I wasn't sure how he would react to the sand, but he didn't seem to notice at all. He dug right in with Daddy and Parker building sandcastles and playing in the waves. He did not sit still as usual and we spent 3 hours playing on the beach. Parker's favorite part was going out in the big waves with Daddy (that's why there aren't as many pictures of him)
Watch out, the waves are coming!!
He loved the water so much that he even tried to put his face in it :)
Friday evening we went to the "carnival" or Pleasure Pier. I was really nervous when Parker wanted to ride some of the big boy rides, especially the cars that go forward and backward really fast, but he LOVED it!! We took a break from rides and enjoyed a good dinner at Bubba Gump's Seafood on the pier.
At the very end of the Pleasure Pier is a huge ferris wheel. We all were able to enjoy this, even Truitt.
After dinner Parker was able to pick one more ride, and of course he chose the pirate ship log ride. I again was not sure how he would do with the big drop, but he loved it!! And Daddy was a trooper too :)
