Swinging, Shrimp Boil and Deer

Grandpa put up a second big boy swing for Parker, which he loved. I was very suprised he actually chose that one and let Truitt have the baby swing. Since my parents often feed the deer corn or leftover fruit and veggies, they are always hanging around. Truitt loved watching them and even learned a new word "deer". When we got home this evening, Truitt was looking for the deer in our backyard. So cute!!

A few times a year, John's stepfather does a shrimp boil, and after tasting it a few weeks back, my dad wanted to try it too. He was nervous that it wouldn't turn out right, but it turned out so yummy!!
