On The Move

Truitt has recently started to stand on his own for a few seconds and loves pushing his lion walker around. This morning he decided to tag along with his brother since he had the cool car case!!

10 Months Old

We are so blessed to have such a fun loving, sweet little boy. Over this last month he has definitely developed quite a personality. Everywhere we go people comment about his smile and how happy he is. He is mister independent!! I will turn my head for one second and he is off on a new adventure. I can usually find him playing in the playroom. He loves the play kitchen and throwing everything on the floor!!

He is sleeping a lot better and MUST have his lovey, Bear!! He has become very attached over the last couple of weeks. He has also been eating a lot more lately. He loves most things that he can feed himself. I am still having a hard time with veggies, but if they are in a casserole he gobbles them up. At daycare, they have started giving him the same breakfast and lunch that Parker gets!! He is still our little guy though. Only weighing 16 # 3 ounces at his monthly weight check!!

He talks all the time (a little less when he brother is around :) ). Recently he has started saying, "Uh, Oh". He has also been hearing "No, No" a lot, and he immediately stops what he is doing and turns to see if I am serious before he does it again. Little stinker!!

Happy 2012

Normally we get together with the PA group for New Years Eve, but with the little ones we decided getting together new years day would be more fun. Everyone came over to our house for a few hours today for pizza and playtime. Deanna made sure to bring the black eyed peas and cabbage for good luck and fortune in 2012!! The older boys had a blast in the bouncy house and playing bumper cars with Parker's jeep and Andrew's truck. I wasn't sure how having 10 kids at the house would go, but everyone was so well behaved and we had such a great time. This looks like possibly a new tradition.

New Years with Neighbors

We decided to stay home for New Years Eve this year and hang out with the neighbors. We all camped out in the Kings driveway, ate snacks, had some drinks, did fireworks and played games. It was a great night and we actually stayed up to ring in the new year!! Truitt made it until 9:30 and Parker until midnight!!


Parker is still not a huge fan of fireworks, but Truitt just sat in the highchair eating cheese and crackers enjoying the show. He was not scared by the loud noise at all.

Christmas Day 2011

Truitt woke up bright and early to see if Santa had come. When I am at work, I am able to watch the boys on the computer at daycare and often see Truitt playing in a tunnel, so I thought he would enjoy his own at home too. Truitt and Parker have already enjoyed chasing each other thru it.



Parker finally came downstairs around 8:30 to see what Santa brought. I didn't get the super excited expression I was looking for, but I still think I did pretty good. The Scooby Doo Mystery Machine and people were a favorite, as well as the Transformers playdoh set. He was excited to see that Santa enjoyed his cookies and the reindeer enjoyed their food too.




Then we had Christmas with Mimi and Papa and Aunt Julia. After presents we enjoyed a wonderful lunch, even Truitt enjoyed the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. After Parker ate a good lunch, he then expected more presents. That seemed to be the theme this year, more, more, more!! I am hoping this is just a 3 year old thing and that we are not creating a spoiled brat already!

Pro Stair Crawler

Truitt took a couple of tumbles down the steps throughout my parent's house, but soon figured it out. He would just flatten himself down on his belly, pull himself forward and go down. It is so cute!!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we had our traditional tamale and chili dinner followed by opening presents. I think that was the best meal Parker has ever eaten!! The boys had a blast and Truitt just explored everything. We had to take plenty of group pics and yes, I was that mom that dressed her kids alike!! But, don't they look so cute :)

Parker and Truitt got new Columbia jackets from Aunt Debbie and Uncle Brett in Colorado. We love them!!

While in San Antonio, we took a drive over to Windcrest. This is an older neighborhood where the majority of the houses decorate, and one house even had you tune into a radio station to hear the music with their display. This is something I did yearly as a kid and loved sharing it with my boys!!

Truitt enjoyed his first cookie that Noni made just like his brother did below. Boy, is he a messy eater!!
